FLASH PLAYER BROWSER SUPPORT ENDING

The Adobe plug-in Flash player is an obsolete security risk and will no longer be supported by Adobe, or most browsers by the end of 2020. Below is a link to a short article explaining the decision, which is a long time coming. Below that, are some screenshots on how to continue to view Flash-based web content in the Chrome browser (when it will let you).

Chrome, indeed, does have a disclaimer in their browser when trying to view Flash content on a web site.

If you try to view Flash content on a web site in Chrome, most likely, you will see this page.

To change the Chrome Flash setting from Block to “ask first”, click the “Flash icon” in the URL bar and click Manage.

This will open the Flash settings tab. Click the slider to turn off the “Block sites from running Flash” option (it will turn blue).

Now, it should prompt you to click to temporarily enable Flash for the web site you are trying to view Flash content on.

Click Allow.
